The quality assessment of a banknote should be objective, but it is often subjective. The seller quickly assigns a higher grade as a buyer would, if only to influence the selling price. With banknotes you see that there are now "third party grading" (TPG) parties active, who guarantee the quality of the bills offered. They use their own standards for this, which often differ from the standards traditionally used by collectors. On the websites of the respective TPG providers you can find the quality standards used.
Because I often get requests from collectors to offer bills that have been assessed by these TPGs, I add them in this separate category. They can also be found under the normal classification by country!
The prices of these notes cannot be compared to what you find in a catalogue. The prices follow what the market currently actually offers for notes with this guaranteed quality.
Sometimes 10x more higher as indicated in printed catalogues!
